they stated that they received . the suspects fled from the scene and they tracked the car down. officials stated that a records check showed that the only was on searchable probation. they make contact and that is when a dog emerged from the basement and bit the officer in the leg. other officers shot and killed the dog. officer is now in the hospital with a not life-threatening injury. you can see officers are starting to now leave the scene and we are going to get an update shortly. a woman ran from inside as she stated that this was her dog that was shot and killed and that she is upset. she did not want to speak with us

we just received word that supervisors are going out here talking to the truck drivers to let them know that they're not open for business. there are no workers at the port oakland. they cannot unload or load the trucks. i wanted to know what does it have to do with the truck drivers because of they do not pick up they do not get paid. they stated that because of respect they're not going to get paid as well. >>'re all in this together. >> we will have to wait to see, i guess these truck drivers would just have to park their trucks and wait until tomorrow. >> the time is 6:04 a.m.. police in the east bay are on high alert as protesters took to the streets for a fourth straight night following the acquittal of george zimmerman.

>> welcome back. more than 2-thousand firefighters are battling a fast moving wildfire in southern california. here you can see the flames and thick billowing smoke. at least 19- structures have been destroyed including 3 houses and 3 mobile homes. and dozens of homes and an animal sanctuary have been evacuated. the wildfire started monday in the mountains between palm springs and hemet and has surged to about 14- square miles. the fire is only 10- percent contained.the cause still >> the time is 6:15 a.m.. we will not take a look at the hot spots. >> the cost of the 680 south bound. there were two

yesterday did little to impress investors on wall street. futures trading right now shows all three indexes in the negative. here's a look at the closing numbers. the dow fell 32 points. the nasdaq fell nine points. and the s-and-p lost four points. opening bell is at 6:30. >> yahoo's second-quarter results aren't giving marissa mayer a lot to celebrate as she completes her first year running the internet company. the numbers released tuesday show yahoo inc.'s earnings climbed 46 percent, thanks to a major boost from an investment in chinese internet company alibaba. but yahoo's revenue fell 7 percent from last year, highlighting a recurring problem despite other signs of progress under mayer's leadership. the lackluster growth reflects yahoo's difficulties selling more digital advertising as marketers increase their spending at rivals google inc. and facebook inc. yahoo earned $331 million, or 30 cents per share in the three months ending in june. revenue totaled $1.14 billion.
